Black Bear Performance offers our AutoCal custom tuning service for your 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 4.3L, 5.3L and 6.2L.
Gains vary widely by engine type and configuration.
- 4.3L engines will typically see a 10-15hp/15-20ft-lbs gain.
- 5.3L engines will typically see a 15-25hp/15-20ft-lbs gain (octane dependent)
- 6.2L engines will typically see a 25-30hp/30-35ft-lbs on 91+ octane.
Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you'll have what feels like a whole new vehicle!

All 2014+ 5.3Ls owners are strongly encouraged to use a minimum of 89 octane at all times due to compression ratio.
All 2014+ 6.2L engines require 91+ octane for optimal performance and efficiency due to compression ratio.
*Transmission tuning NOT available on 2017-2018 8- and 10-Speed Transmissions.
**Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services. Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
AutoCal
All tuning with our AutoCal is custom designed specifically for your vehicle, your modifications and your desired tune changes. We start off by having you collect your OEM tune file(s) as well as a scan of the vehicle's operating conditions while driving. Those items are sent in to us for diagnostic review and to build your tune files. Assuming all is acceptable to proceed, we then provide you with your custom files built for your vehicle. Copying and flashing those files takes just a few minutes.

- Large, easy to read color screen
- On-board memory allows the storage of multiple tune files and/or countless hours of logged data
- Multiple vehicle licensing available on a single device! Up to 600 vehicles can simultaneously be tuned by a single AutoCal device with the purchase of additional service from Black Bear Performance. No other handheld offers this flexibility.
- Full 2007+ GM 6 and 8 speed transmission tuning support (2017+ 8 or 10 speed transmissions excluded)
- Window's PC or laptop running Win7 or higher required.
