Terms and Conditions

All tune services are for off-road use only and are not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles at any time. Purchaser/user assumes ALL liability and responsibility in adhering to local, state and federal laws. By virtue of purchasing tune services or off-road performance products from Black Bear Performance Inc., buyers hereby acknowledge acceptance and understanding of the following terms and conditions.

SHIPPING POLICY:

We ship almost entirely via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Most product orders are placed in the mail within 3 business days. Should we run into large order volumes, product unavailability, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will make every attempt to ship your products in as timely a manner as possible.
Express, Overnight, and International shipping are available upon request for an additional charge.

REFUND POLICY

Tune Service Refund Policy:
All sales are final. We stand behind our product, offering no additional service fee for tune updates within a year of purchase. Please also reference our tune update policy below.
Scan Cable Hardware and PCM Core Charge Refund Policy:
- Full refund available for Scan Cable Hardware or PCM Core Charge product purchases upon return of product to Black Bear Performance, Inc. at buyer's expense within 45 days of original shipment delivery date.
- 75% cash refund available (less shipping costs) for Scan Cable Hardware or PCM Core Charge product purchases upon return of product to Black Bear Performance, Inc. at buyer's expense within 60 days of original shipment delivery date.
- Partial refunds or customer credits may be available for Scan Cable Hardware or PCM Core Charge product purchases upon return of product to Black Bear Performance, Inc. at buyer's expense if received more than 60 days from original shipment delivery date.

General Product Purchase Return Policy (Excluding Scan Cable Hardware and PCM Core Charge):

- 100% cash refund available (less shipping costs) for all other product purchases upon return of product to Black Bear Performance, Inc. at buyer's expense within 14 days of original shipment delivery date.
- Partial refunds or customer credits may be available for product purchases upon return of product to Black Bear Performance, Inc. at buyer's expense if received more than 14 days from original shipment delivery date.
- Special order items are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.

TUNE UPDATE POLICY:

Update service is free for one year from completion to existing customers via the same tune method originally purchased.
Updates after one year will be pro-rated based on type of adjustment needed and will be at the discretion of Black Bear Performance staff.
Service upgrades (eg, mail order to in-person) will be at a cost of the difference between the original purchase and desired new product level at the current price levels.
Any change of computer type (eg, black box to 0411) will require an additional upgrade service fee.
Shipping is the sole responsibility of the purchaser as are any applicable deposits and core charges.
This policy is not transferable to another individual or vehicle.
